The challenge
Dilzone Academy is a language school in Hydra, Algiers, teaching five languages in small groups, with a strong link to Türkiye: many students learn Turkish to study or work there. Its old round badge, with two crossed flags, could not be read at small sizes, the name was written two different ways, and the website did not show the school's real strengths: small groups, level tests, real teachers and the bridge with Türkiye.
What we did
We started with the story in the name: dil means language in Turkish, so Dilzone is the zone where you cross over. From that came a new identity: a d that is also a speech bubble, a Latin and an Arabic wordmark, a red and night-blue palette, patterns, pictograms and an 83-page brand book that the team, designers, printers and partners in Türkiye all work from.
We then built the website in English, French, Arabic and Turkish: a page for each language with its levels and prices in dinars, free online level tests, teacher profiles, lesson booking with prices in Turkish lira for students in Türkiye, and WhatsApp one tap away. We also designed the signage, stationery and social media templates in four languages.
The result
Dilzone Academy now has one recognisable brand everywhere it appears, from the sign in Hydra to an Instagram Story, and a fast website where a student can find their language, check their level and book a lesson in their own language.
